7. Web analytics and cookies

We use analysis tools on our website to analyze and improve the structure and navigation of our web presence and to tailor it to your needs.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). This analysis service uses cookies, which are small files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of our website. Information about the use of our website collected through cookies is used to evaluate general website usage, to enable us to compile reports on website activity, and to further optimize our website and provide other services related to website and internet usage. The information generated by Google Analytics via cookies regarding the use of the website – including the anonymized IP address – is transmitted to a Google Inc. server in the USA. Anonymization is achieved by removing the last eight bits of the IP address, making it impossible to assign the collected data to a specific IP address. This information is transmitted to authorities or third parties if this is legally required or if third parties act as service providers on behalf of Google. However, it is possible to prevent the storage of cookies through appropriate browser settings. If you refuse to consent to the storage of cookies in your browser settings, certain features of our website may not be available. By using our website, you agree to the use of Google Analytics. Further information on Google Analytics can be found at: http://www.google.at/intl/de/analytics. Information on Google's Privacy Policy can be found at http://www.google.de/policies/privacy. You can find an option to opt out of the use of Google Analytics and the associated data transfer to Google here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Furthermore, we use cookies to make our services as user-friendly as possible for you. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device to recognize you when you use our website again. Cookies can be stored permanently or only during a session. Two types of cookies are used: necessary cookies to provide basic website functions, and target-oriented cookies that help us optimize the structure and navigation of our website and thereby improve service quality. In both cookie applications, your IP address is immediately shortened and thus anonymized so that it can no longer be associated with you. Therefore, no personal data is collected or evaluated, nor is it linked to other such data. You can also prevent the installation of all types of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly. If you make such a setting, it may be that not all functions of our website can be fully used.

A general objection to the use of cookies for online marketing purposes can be declared for a large number of services, especially in the case of tracking, via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. Furthermore, the storage of cookies can be achieved by deactivating them in the browser settings. Please note that in that case, not all functions of this online offer may be available.

All collected usage information will not be passed on to third parties.

8. Logging of email traffic

To ensure appropriate information and system security and to detect malware, we store log data for email traffic. When you send an email to one of our addresses, the following data is logged: email and IP address of the recipient and the sender, number of recipients, subject, date and time of receipt at the server, file name of any attachments, size of the message, risk classification for spam, and delivery status. Emails are checked purely automatically in a first step. Only in the event of a suspected threat to the security of the IT systems will individual emails be checked manually by responsible persons.

In addition, we process your personal data in connection with emails as far as necessary for the duration of the entire business initiation process as well as beyond that in accordance with legal retention and documentation requirements.

9. Social Media
