Campaign strategy

The main argument of the strategy was to highlight the added value of not having to commute.

Definition of 3 clear core messages:

440 hours more time to live per year
The average Krems/Vienna commuter spends up to 2 hours a day on the train or in the car. Based on 220 working days, that's 440 hours of commuting time per year. Working in Krems instead of commuting. What would you do with 440 hours of extra free time?

Around € 10,000 more in your pocket every year
The average Krems/Vienna commuter drives over 35,000 km by car per year, which is around € 14,000 in travel costs according to official mileage allowances. After deducting commuter benefits, costs of around € 10,000 still remain.

Good for the environment: save up to 6000kg of CO2
The average Krems/Vienna commuter drives over 35,000 km by car per year. A mid-range combustion engine produces approx. 170g CO2 / km. 170g CO2 / km * = save around 6000 kg of CO2.
